Okay, now I was pretty impressed by this shot. First of all, the quality of the shot couldn't be better. The focused head comes out sharp which is pretty basic for a good shot BUT the two seconds shutter speed tell me that a tripod or something alike must have been used. This combined with the fact that dragonflies don't usually like to be approached make me give five stars on technique.
As for the originality, I'm not really sure how to rate it for a macro shot. I'll give it four stars anyway because I like the choice of the title and the idea of an insect needing multiple contact lenses due to its compound eyes.
In my opinion the impact and the vision are closely related, especially in macro. As the vision is flawless, the impact was pretty hard when I saw this deviation. The colors are absolutely stunning and they go so well with the bokkeh.
Wow, mikor megláttam először a képet, rögtön az jutott eszembe, olyan mintha sok pici kristály borítaná... A megnyitáskor pedig szinte nem is csodálkoztam, hogy DD lett a fotó, amihez így utólag is gratulálok.
